Are you expecting, recently given birth, or simply curious about the role of a midwife in your pregnancy journey?
Join us at The Moms Lounge in collaboration with CWAE foundational sponsor NeoHealth for an enlightening session designed to support, inform, and empower you.
You’ll leave knowing;
-
What exactly is a midwife, and how is midwifery care different from medical care?
-
Why seeing a midwife in addition to your doctor can lead to better outcomes.
-
The importance of continuity of care and a holistic approach during pregnancy and the postnatal period.
-
Understanding the 4th trimester and how midwives support new mothers emotionally and physically.
-
What happens during pregnancy – what to expect, when to seek trimester-specific care, and how midwives guide you through every stage.
-
The power of correct education, evidence-based care, and why choosing a DHA-licensed midwife matters.
-
How midwifery is not just about birth—it’s a broad and deeply supportive profession that centers your experience.
Specialist Head of Midwives at NeoHealth, Hannah Duncan, will be leading this session and it’ll be your opportunity to ask your questions directly to a DHA-Licensed midwife and gain confidence in navigating pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
Who Should Attend?
Expecting parents, new parents, those planning for pregnancy, or anyone interested in understanding modern midwifery.
We look forward to seeing you all :)
