Moms Group | How Cooking Supports Cognitive and Nutritional Growth in Children
What’s the relationship between child development and cooking? This is what our upcoming guest speaker and CWAE member Natalia Samoilova will eagerly share with us at The Moms Lounge.
For every mom eager to nurture her little one’s growth and well-being, this session is for you!
Join us in this thought-provoking discussion where we dive into the fascinating evolution of your child's brain. We will explore their key developmental stages (ages 1-3, 3-5, 5-7, 7-11, 12-16), from the scientific lens of neurobiology and neuropsychology, and highlight how teaching your child to cook can support their overall growth and wellbeing.
You'll learn:
-
How children’s brains evolve and how these changes impact their association with food.
-
How the development of food preferences and eating habits can form during these key milestones of development and how to positively support this process.
-
How developing culinary skills can enhance cognitive growth and foster a healthy relationship with food.
Natalia will share practical, hands-on cooking activities designed specifically for each age group. You’ll leave with actionable strategies that support brain development and encourage positive eating behaviors in your child.
Don’t miss this opportunity to discover how the food your child eats can nurture their brain and how developing their cooking skills can build a positive relationship with food and healthy habits that last a lifetime.
